Sometimes it is the mom of the bride that will ask for help when planning a wedding. They know when it is time to call in a professional wedding planner. I am so glad that Judy did, love working with the mom’s. Stephanie and Josh, live and work in downtown Detroit so course where else would their wedding be but in a newly renovated cool space. The Eastern. The perfect spot for a Detroit wedding.
The Eastern, is an historical building, erected in 1888, once the home of fire station, Hook and Ladder No 5. The Eastern is located in the eighteen foot high one story section of the Repair Shop that was built primarily to house a fire truck wash room. It is a wonderful raw space, with concrete floors and high ceilings.
Stephanie and Josh embraced the space, creating a light design, with greens, browns and with a touch of vintage. The florals created by Petit Florals , were light and airy against the brick back drop.
The delicious appetizers and mains, created by Cutting Edge Cuisine, was as always, so tasty.
