Katie and Scott, were one of the coolest and sweetest couples that I have ever worked with.  They had asked Simply Brilliant Events to plan the last month of their wedding in Ann Arbor, Michigan so everything would go according to plan, which it did of course.

The day began with the bride and bridesmaids made to look so pretty and the groom and groomsman at an old fashioned barber shop.  Taylor and Colt What a fun idea, why should the girls have all the fun!

The weather could not of been more of a picture perfect day, for an outdoor wedding ceremony at Wurster Park, Ann Arbor, Michigan. Light refreshments were set-up for the guests while waiting for the bride and groom to arrive on a school bus.

All the wedding guests boarded the classic yellow school bus for an outdoor cocktail hour in the courtyard at Zingerman’s Events on Fourth, the perfect place for smaller more intimate weddings.

The couple had decorated the Zingerman’s Events on Fourth space with many personal items from their travels.  A world globe to pin point all the amazing places they had been.  My favorite is the cake table, with a wooden trunk for the cake from Zingerman’s Bakehouse, vintage milk bottles and cookies to complete the fun experience.

The room was filled with so much love for this funny and quirky couple, that the toasts never stopped and the dancing continued throughout the evening.
