October 11th was one of the last beautiful sunny fall days, the perfect day for a fall wedding in Michigan.  Caitlin and Michael had asked Simply Brilliant Events to plan the last month of planning their special day.  We could not of been happier to help such a genuine  and kind couple.

The Bride to be and bridesmaids arrived ready for perfect ceremony at St John’s Church in Fenton, Michigan.  A very pretty church inside, needing very little additional decoration.

The ceremony was beautiful – 

Caitlin and Michael’s first kiss as Mr and Mrs Schneider!

The reception held at Walnut Creek Country Club, South Lyon, Michigan, a great venue with a patio over looking the golf course.  Perfect for guest to enjoy “Apple Pie” on the rocks and passed appetizers, while the new Mr and Mrs Scheinder and bridal party had fun in the grounds of the golf club.

As the final rays of sun went down on the perfect fall afternoon, guests moved inside for dinner and dancing.

Decorated by Kim at Carriage House Designs, Howell, MI www.carriagehousedesigns.com with many mercury vases with pops of pinks and reds flowers, gold chiavari chairs completed the look.

The 3 tier cake continued the gold theme with a stunning design. I think this could be one of my favorite cake designs.  Simple but very effective.  Created by the pastry chef at Walnut Greek Country Club.  It is also tasted great, a major plus!

Once dinner had finished the dancing could begin….

Caitlin surprised her groom with an extra special gift of handmade cigars, she knows the way to her man’s heart.  All the guys enjoyed this treat on the patio.

Finally the dancing had to end with the bride and groom leaving with a sparkler exit.  A wonderful end to a really special day.
