“An upscale wedding, that feels like a very nice dinner party for 200”  was the answer at the first wedding planning consultation, when asked to describe how you want to feel on this very special day by the lake.

At a private lakeside residence in Wolverine Lake, MI.  The activities began lakeside for the ceremony which would later be used for dancing and live music from The Killer Flamingo’s.

Guests stayed lakeside for cocktails, moving to the front of the house for the stunning reception.  The delicate but sophisticated color palate of blush pink, pale gray and ivory with a hint of mercury, ivory draping, with pops of pink and two chandeliers suspended high above.

The details: long tables with blush table linens and gray napkins, many mercury vases and votive s with glass candlesticks.  Center round tables: ivory rosetta linens with gray napkins.

Linens provided by Special Occasions Linens and floral creations by Sandra Bostwick, Ruby Slipper Designs.

Fun details were added such as “mint to be” favors, vintage pieces from Serrandella Rentals added for the gift table, bar both at the front and back of the house.

The evening ended with amazing fireworks and many hours of dancing!
