Nicola and her team was amazing! We started chatting a few weeks prior as we used her for our day off coordinator and she really went through it all making me feel extremely comfortable before the big day. She truly went above and beyond and ensured we didnt stress leading up to the wedding day. She was extremely professional and really took the reigns for the rehearsal and wedding day which was a huge help and allowed us to really enjoy those moments! Highly recommended!
During the entire wedding planning process, my husband and I would consistently say the same exact thing: The best thing we ever did was find Nicola! Every step of the way, Nicola and her team put together the most incredible Detroit wedding we could have even tried to imagine! The both of us had very little vision or understanding of what we wanted and how we wanted to accomplish it, but Nicola was so patient with us, and always gently guided us to make more thoughtful and informed decisions. She came with us to just about every vendor meeting to make sure the right questions were asked and everything was properly aligned. She genuinely went above and beyond and for that we are so grateful! The wedding itself was absolutely incredible! Nicola and her team created both a visually stunning wedding that also operated so smoothly and seamlessly. When I saw the final look come together, I genuinely could not believe that this was our wedding. Genavieve was amazing as well! The day of, she was so kind when it came to guiding all of our guests and always seemed to appear at the exact moment I needed anything at all. Looking back, I cannot count how many people approached us afterwards and told us that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. I cannot recommend Simply Brilliant Events enough!!
Nicola was a godsend, and I am so incredibly grateful for all of the work she put into making our day so special. My husband and I were planning our Michigan wedding from New York, and Nicola was on the ground from day 1 to make sure that everything came together as our Michigan wedding planner. She went to meet with various vendors, as necessary, and handled calls and appointments with our location vendor (which at times could get a little tricky – Nicola was great at keeping everyone happy and still making sure that my husband and I had enough flexibility to carry out our vision). We were so grateful for her help in recommending various vendors for floral arrangements, band, etc. Also, Nicola was great at working with my crazy work schedule – if I needed to talk to her in the early mornings or evenings, or even on the weekends, she always found time to be available. As we got closer to the wedding, I don’t know what we would have done without her – she always had a contingency plan in case anything went awry, and came through at the last minute in so many ways to make sure that our event ran smoothly and without a hiccup. At the end of the day, our wedding was beautiful and we will treasure those memories forever, and I don’t think it would have been possible (or at least so much more stressful) without Nicola.
Nicola was the best decision we made in our planning process! We switched venues midway through our engagement and found out that we would only have a 2 hour setup time for our guest list of 500 people. This could NOT have happened without Nicola’s expertise! She made sure we had the best vendors to make this happen. She made the whole wedding planning process so smooth and was incredible at making our vision come to life. My fiancé also lived out of state during our engagement, and she was so wonderful at making it stress-free for us. There were issues that arose that we didn’t even know about that she took care of for us. Our main goal was to make sure our family didn’t have to worry or stress throughout the planning process and especially the day of the wedding and she made this happen! If you’re in the market for a planner, Nicola is amazing! Thank you again Nicola for helping us plan the wedding of our dreams!
