Love, love this wedding! The venue, The Eastern, downtown Detroit. Pure Detroit, for Stephanie and Josh this is exactly who they are. A city couple who live and work in downtown Detroit, Michigan. Embracing everything that Detroit has to offer, including The Eastern as their venue for both ceremony and the celebrations afterwards.
The Eastern, is an historical building, erected in 1888, once the home of fire station, Hook and Ladder No 5. The Eastern is located in the eighteen foot high one story section of the Repair Shop that was built primarily to house a fire truck wash room. It is a wonderful raw space, with concrete floors and high ceilings.
Stephanie and Josh embraced the space, creating a light design, with greens, browns and with a touch of vintage. The florals created by Petit Florals , were light and airy against the brick back drop.
The delicious appetizers and mains, created by Cutting Edge Cuisine, was as always so tasty.
