A Magical Backyard Tent Wedding – Michigan

Finally, Amber and Steve said yes!  After a four year engagement, a different venue and on their 3rd wedding date!

Amber and Steve have originally asked Simply Brilliant Events to plan their wedding at Lovett Hall, but after postponing their wedding date twice they decided to create a beautiful blue and white tent wedding in their pretty wooded backyard in Milford, Michigan.

Although a pretty backyard, it did not come without its challenges.  The backyard was very wooded and there really was not a flat area for their tent except in front of the house.  The back yard which is very wooded would be the ceremony area and the side of the house, where the walkout basement would be the dance area.  Boss Tents & Structures brought their expertise to build a walkout area for the dance floor and a c-span tent for the reception.  A lot more robust than your typical tent.

The Inspiration:

French Country was the overall inspiration for the pretty blue and white design.  Selecting the pretty blue and white patterned linen from Luxe Linen and adding the little details, can make all the difference.    Just like the menu cards that echo the scalloped plate chargers.  Designed perfectly by Letrice from Lepenn Design.

But what really makes a celebration is the food and that was provided by the team at Skosh Catering.  Truly amazing food, loved it all.

The day was truly magical and so happy that they could finally say I do!
